It helps them recognise and think critically about the different cultural, economic and political perspectives. Global education is seen as a way of extending students’ views of the world by exploring their perceptions and connections. The Global School Partnership looks at the possibility of integrating global development issues within the formal curriculum. Calibre was the first school to directly get the Global School Project and to proactively get British Council funding. Very few schools in the city are part of this privileged group of schools, which belong to the Global School project.
